Master Bedroom with four-poster: stepping-up from a purple-heart deck Jack-a-Dam is cool and intimate, with South American décor. Through large jalousie windows you gaze across to tiny Jack-a-Dam set in a shimmering Sea (the island name derives from Dangerous Jack or Dancing Jack). Second Bedroom with four-poster: Colonial was featured as The Room with A View in the July 2002 issue of Condé Nast Traveler. Set aloft, with a unique octagonal balcony entrance that affords a fabulous view to Cistern Point , the room possesses a colonial character. The small patio garden below is half-hidden in greenery and shaded by a flaming flamboyant tree. Daily Maid Service: The Breakfast Cook will prepare and serve a breakfast of your choice on the front porch, from around eight, Carriacou time. Upon request, the Cook will prepare a Creole Supper, including fresh lobster (in Season) at around seven. Breakfast and Dinner will be charged separately. HARMONY - (sleeps up to FOUR persons) a detached, two-roomed Cottage set in the gardens of the nature preserve and overlooking the Sea. Harmony comprises an en-suite four-poster bedroom leading out onto a green-heart deck, which overlooks a citrus orchard to the Sea. A separate en-suite Studio, with an open-plan kitchen, unfolds onto a flagstone dining-patio shaded by coconut palms and cherry trees, and can be used as a second bedroom - peace and quiet for two people seeking solitude well away from the madding crowd. A feeling of spacious coolness combined with comfort and gracious simplicity characterizes each individual accommodation. The house is very romantic in white and pastel shades, with superb ceramic floors throughout. The Cottage is simply cosy. Elegant four-posters draped over with netting, squawking Macaws, and fabulous views, complete an idyllic setting. "The most beautiful and romantic spot on the island. You will discover an enticing little oasis - a few gloriously romantic rooms, so comfortable and seductive, with canopied beds, sea and sunset views, that chances are you won't want to wander. " |
